Ariana's review:

4.5 Stars!!!!!

Well well done Chelsea! Full Throttle was an amazing book! This was the shortest book in the series, yet did not feel rushed at all, even though it once again left me wanting MORE!  One good thing about it was that it could be read as a standalone if you wanted, but it also still incorporated all the original characters from the first two stories. The book focused on Jake (who has been a small character until now), and his long term girlfriend Kenna. I absolutely loved both of them! Jake had a pretty crappy upbringing. The only times his mother wanted him around was when she wasn't dating. Once she got serious with a man, she would make him leave. Staying with family whom did not want him there either. He did not have the love and affection that a normal child needs and craves while growing up. After watching his mother go through marriage after marriage, all ending in divorce, he decides he will never get married himself. This does not however prevent from him being 1000% committed to Kenna, knowing that she is it for him, and there is no one else. From the beginning Jake was always upfront and honest with Kenna regarding this matter, and she was always completely okay with this. All she needed was him. The sexual chemistry between these two is amazing. It's like this intense electrical pull.

" "Not done yet, angel. Drunk or not, you will know just how much I love you." He growls against my neck, in that oh so sweet spot, driving me wild from the vibrations of his voice."

The love they share for one another is undeniable, you would think Kenna would be crazy for ever questioning it!

"You are where I begin and end. I am everything I am because of you. Without you, I am a shell, hollow and empty, waiting for you to find me again. You are home."

But when their close friends all find love and head down the aisle, this leaves Kenna questioning whether the commitment they share with one another really is enough for her, or not. She begins to want it all. Not just a lover for the rest of her life, but a husband.

This realization begins to cause much trouble in their relationship. Jake knows that Kenna deserves all that she wants, and more, but he cannot bring himself to take that step. Not after all he has been through and witnessed. Marriage = divorce... this is what he believes with all his being. And he loves her too much to ever let that happen to them. What he begins to realize is that this way of thinking may be the one thing that causes him to lose her.

"That pill they call pride is one that's hard to swallow. I'm currently choking on it."

Kenna begins to imagine what her life would be like if she did not accept this future with Jake... if she was to leave, and meet someone new. Someone that could give her the ring, and wedding, and name that she wants so desperately. With these new thoughts forming in her head, and the distance that is forming between her and Jake driving the wedge deeper and deeper, will they be able to hold onto the love they have shared for all these years? Or will the idea of marriage tear them apart completely?
