Will he finally learn to take a break from his no strings attached lifestyle and show her that she doesn’t need her past, but the future he is willing to offer her?

With every unspoken memory she regains, will she learn to open up her heart to a total stranger, or will she keep it guarded like he does?

Ariana's Review:
4.5 Stars!!!
Very interesting idea for a story! I absolutely loved the whole concept of famous girl waking up with no memories of who she is. It was a different spin on your modern day romance story which I found to be very refreshing. I cannot imagine what that would be like, let alone getting random memories which you later find out are not even your own! That would seriously freak me out beyond belief.

Abigail's fiance, Bill, was one hell of a jackass! You would think being that his future wife was in a coma and had finally awoken he would be happy... but he was bitter and cruel, and seemed to not care one single bit about helping Abigail settle back in to her "new" old life. The way he would act and speak to her really had my blood boiling, and I was very tempted to take up kickboxing to get off some of my anger towards his character (but I am too lazy to actually do it lol).

In the beginning of the story I felt really bad for Abigail, but as the story progressed I began to realize that her losing her memory was probably the BEST thing that had ever happened to her. Sure, before the coma she she had the fame and fortune, but the one thing you don't  know if she had was happiness... I don't think that she did indeed have this before. When Abigail woke up and started having random memories, they ended up leading  her to Matt. I seriously LOVED Matt's character so much! Yes, there were quite a few times where he really screwed up, but at least he tried to make things right. He never took advantage of Abigail and her status/money where many people would have, nor did he try and take advantage of the fact that she couldn't remember anything from her past. He was very protective of her, even though they were not an item. Matt didn't date. He never allowed himself to get close to a girl other than his ex, but things with Abigail were different. Although he did all he could to be a good friend to her, the feelings that seemed to be developing inside both of them was undeniable. He definitely was a quite cocky man, which in real life would be a HUGE turnoff to me... however I found it to be quite sexy in this book (and other books as well). Despite him being a bit of a man whore, Matt was a real sweetheart. Every time he called Abigail "Beautiful" my heart melted a little bit more than the last.

"Look, I don't know what's going on in that beautiful head of yours, but whatever it is, it brought you to me, which makes you mine now, and I always protect what's mine."

There were quite a few scenes that had a VERY steamy buildup but left you completely high and dry which was KILLING ME! It got to the point where I NEEDED Matt and Abigail to just get it on already so that I could get my fix I needed so badly! I swear, if I was a guy I would have been left with a severe case of blue balls many times throughout the story!!! Even though I was not living the story, I almost started feeling sexually frustrated myself! The chemistry between Matt and Abigail was so intense, but neither of them wanted to admit just how much they really needed each other. I have to admit, I really did enjoy this part of the story however.

"I'm like an addict when it comes to his kiss, craving my next fix against his mouth."

The only complaint I personally had with the whole story was involving how Abigail was getting someone else's memories. Now, I absolutely LOVED this whole concept, and the beginning execution of it was awesome. However, it seemed like this was such an important part of the story, and where it started off very strong, I felt as the story went on, it started to fade into the background. And towards the end it was almost as if the idea was forgotten about completely. I would have liked to have seen it incorporated into the entire story a little more. That being said, the book overall was really great, and I def would add it to my 'must read' list. Gabbie has a wonderful way in which she makes her words flow on the pages, and I absolutely cannot wait for the next book to come out!!!!

DELETED SCENE!!!

When Trey suggested that we have a couple of drinks, saying we all deserved them after the day I had, I knew it wouldn’t be a good idea. I finally ended up passing out from the four beers and god only knows how shots of Patrón. The last thing I remember is putting my head on Matt’s shoulder saying I was just going to rest my eyes for a moment.
The next morning I wake up with a pounding in my head and the worst feeling of retching coming from my stomach. I barely manage to stand up and make it to the bathroom before I’m dry heaving in the toilet. Once that is done, I somehow, with the grace of God, manage to shower and get dressed. Even that feels like an obstacle.
As I exit my room I notice that Matt is lying on the couch watching TV and when he hears me come in, he looks at me with a smile and says, “Hey beautiful.”
Beautiful, is he fucking crazy? There’s nothing that feels beautiful in me right now. I give him a look of disgust and he chuckles before he says, “Not feeling so hot, I assume.”
I take a very deep breath. “I swear I’m never drinking again,” I say impulsively.
This earns me a full-blown laugh and it makes me wince from the sound. I go to sit on the recliner, curling my feet under my legs and realize that he is covered with blankets like he slept on the couch. So I ask him, “Did you sleep out here?”
Matt nods. “Yeah, David and Kelly were pretty messed up as well. So I gave them my room.”
That’s when I realize I don’t remember anything after I closed my eyes. So I hesitantly ask, “Did you take me to my bed last night?” He gives me another short nod, while still channel surfing, his eyes focused on the TV.
“You know you have to stop taking advantage of me being drunk just to undress me,” I dryly tell him.
He looks at me with his half-mast eyes and a sexy smirk on his lips. “Who says you have to be drunk in order for me to undress you?” he says, dragging his eyes up and down my body, making it tingle straight down to my core.
I cross my legs together trying to stop the sensation, but of course it only intensifies it. I stare right back at him imagining what I could say or do to return the feeling, but he turns his head and starts to watch TV again. Ignoring my glare.
I roll my eyes and try to control the spinning that is somehow still going on in my head. It’s not helping the crappy feeling I have in my stomach either. I simply sit there for a couple of minutes, staring at him, wondering why he does this hot and cold game with me. Does he do it to amuse himself?
He must feel me watching him, because he turns and notices my face, as I’m intensely looking at him. He just smiles at me, and then stands ups, removing the blanket that was covering his lower body.
As usual he has on his boxer briefs that are hugging him in places that should be left only to the imagination. But my eyes go wide when I notice the huge bulge in between his legs. Noticing that I’m staring at his mid-section, he gets an amused look on his face and walks over to me. He lowers his body, placing an arm on each armrest, bringing his head down right in front of mine. “You see something you like beautiful?”
The nauseating feeling has just left my body, and is now replaced with embarrassment. Him catching me while I was observing his package, like I had every right to, is mortifying enough to give him reason to think he could mess with my mind.
I notice he’s still waiting for an answer. “Uhh, get over yourself Matt. I’m not one of your friend’s with benefits who’s going to throw myself at you and beg,” I say while pushing him off me, storming off in the direction of my room. Once I’ve reached its statuary, I slam the door behind me, from being provoked.
I stand against my door trying to catch my breath because he’s just managed to steal every ounce of it the moment he asked if I liked what I saw. Of course I liked what I saw, and he knew it. He enjoys teasing me every chance he got. God help me the last thing I need right now is to be added to his long list of special friends, then be thrown to the curb when he was done with me.
No, I am just going to have to learn to use will power when it comes to him, but I needed to discover it soon or else I was screwed.
