✯Review✯Flawed and Damaged (Damaged Hearts #1) by Emily Krat

Synopsis
Two people haunted by their past…
The collision of two damaged hearts…

Meet Elizabeth Williams. She is at the airport on an important work assignment. If everything goes smoothly, after three years of hard work, she’ll get a promotion and a much-needed raise. Elizabeth is putting her life back on track after it was ripped out from under her feet four years ago when she lost her parents along with all her dreams. Standing here, she believes her life is going to change for the better any moment now. Nothing can go wrong, right?
Meet Ryan Price. He came to Moscow on business. Right now, Ryan is standing at the airport looking at a ‘present’ from his brother, judging by the sign a beautiful young woman is holding. Damn his brother for not cancelling this arrangement as Ryan asked.
Miscommunications and misunderstandings and a brilliant but painful love story begins.
There will be a scary flight, lovely breakfasts, long evening conversations, sharing a secret or two, discovering one another, a lot of laughter, tender moments and some tears, a fight and, of course, the I-am-ready-for-the-end-of-the-world kiss.
Somewhere along the way, they won’t be able to fight their feelings any longer.
For the first time in his life, Ryan will experience a different shade of lust. And for the first time in her life, Elizabeth will have to trust despite all of the times she has been hurt.
Will these two wounded lost souls find love, peace and comfort in each other or will they just break each other more? Is it a train wreck of a love story or a happily ever after?

 ✯✯4 Damaged Stars!!✯✯

This is Emily Krat's debut book and what a way to start! I really fell in love with both Elizabeth and Ryan. Both Ryan and Elizabeth have had hard lives. And, because of everything that has happened to them they are both damaged. They both have their reasons behind everything that they do. Somethings good and others not so much. But, in the end they just want the pain inside to end. I literally would be laughing hysterical to crying the next.

Elizabeth's parents died in a plane crash when she was 17. She moved to Moscow with her grandmother. Now, she's working at a job as an assistant for the past 3yrs. Elizabeth wants no needs a promotion. Her grandmother has Alzheimer's and Elizabeth will do anything to get her into a trial to help her keep her grandmother around a little longer. Elizabeth gets her big break. Go to the airport and bring the investors back to her office. Do that & the promotion is yours.

Ryan who took over his father's business very rarely leaves New York. When he is forced to go to Moscow to check on one of his hotels he was not prepared for what he was getting. Once he shows up in the airport he sees the most beautiful women he's ever seen. The problem? The name on the sign she's holding. His brother Mark has women everywhere he goes. He can not believe he sent her to him.

Ryan lets Elizabeth know he is here and lets go. Elizabeth follows and can not believe how attractive the guy in front of her is. Even if he is a major jerk. Once at the hotel Ryan dismisses Elizabeth. Elizabeth is straight confused and her phone is dead. She has no way of getting a hold of her bosses. Elizabeth decides to wait for Ryan.

Needless to say Ryan & Elizabeth figure out the mix up. Elizabeth ends up fired. Ryan for the life of him can't get Elizabeth out of his mind. After a background check he learns everything there is to know about Elizabeth. He tracks her down. Ryan makes up a bogus job with  a very real paycheck.

Elizabeth's room mate and closest friend Nina convinces her to take it. Now, until Elizabeth's "boss" can meet her she is going with Ryan to Paris. Or that's what she's meant to believe.

Elizabeth and Ryan spend a lot of time together. Both of them  are fighting their own wars inside themselves. Poor Elizabeth hasn't handled the death of her parents well at all.Every day faithfully she opens up her journals and writes to her parents. Anybody that looks at Elizabeth can see the emptiness in her eyes. Ryan too is not handling things good. His mother died during childbirth of his baby brother Mark. Mark is the one person Ryan loves and would protect. Their father wasn't a nice person. In order to save Mark he had to go & do what his father wanted. Now, Ryan is on a revenge mission. He wants to ruin his father. Ryan is a loner. With the exception of his brother and 1 employee who has become sort of a friend over the years. Ryan doesn't talk to employees very nicely. He def is not someone people want to talk too or be friend with.  But, with Elizabeth it's different.

Not only does she see the good in Ryan she also sees when he's being  a asshat. Elizabeth lets Ryan know how she feels. There was so many times  I'd find myself hysterical laughing at these 2. Ryan & Elizabeth definitely feel things for each other. One minute Ryan is letting his guard down and the next he's a total jerk. Poor Elizabeth doesn't know what the heck is going on.

Emily had you feeling everything the characters were feeling! I love duel POV in a book. I love the men POV the best usually. Ryan was no different. He has so much to give to people. But, he doesn't know how too. Elizabeth has basically died when she lost her parents. She'd do anything to help her grandmother. Which got me because it made me think of my grandmother. I don't know what's going to happen to her if & when she looses her grandmother. But, seeing how good Emily is, I will probably be a blubbering mess!!

I absolutely loved everybody in this book. Ryan & Mark had me laughing every time they were together.Elizabeth & Nina have a lot of secrets. But,love each other and would do anything for he other one. Even Elizabeth & Mark had me laughing. I loved watching Ryan and Elizabeth heal each other. I can not wait for book 2.
