Ok, let me just start off by saying that I LOVE LOVE LOVE this book!!!!
I am an avid fan of Chelsea Camaron and all her books, but have not yet read anything by M.J. Fields. With that being said, I will now have to download every book by MJ because if they are even half as incredible as this book was, then she will have a lifelong fan.
This book was all about overcoming ones past hardships and not letting the past define the person you become in the future. The road to recovery is never an easy one, and sometimes you have to fall many times before you are able to keep yourself afloat.
The characters in this book were so amazing, and I really grew to love each and every one of them (except the Caldwell's dad…. he was a real prick!). Livi was funny, quirky, at times awkward, and all around lovable. She just seemed like such a "real" person, and made it instantly easy to connect with her character. I couldn't get enough of her constant butt rubbing (her panties that gave her inner strength and motivation)… seriously it was firkin hilarious, and the sayings on her panties had me cracking up. She didn't play the part of the damsel in distress… she was incredibly strong even with all the hardships she would find herself in. One night, and many drinks later she finds herself having the most amazing sex she has ever had. The only thing is she does not even know what he looks like.
Hendrix was one of the three Caldwell brothers. He never saw himself getting attached and settling down, yet he was far from the typical manwhore. An unforgettable night left his head spinning as he could not shake the memories of the girl behind the mask. Little did he know that his life would never again be the same.
The chemistry between Hendrix and Livi was intense. It was instant, and powerful, and downright sexy. When their two worlds collide it is a force to be reckoned with. Through each other they are able to heal, learn forgiveness, and learn about the all consuming love that everyone should have a chance to encounter. They are able to take steps forward in life without allowing the past to weigh them down.
There were difficult topics discussed in this book, but the way the authors approached them was wonderful. It didn't focus so much on the horrors of these topics, but rather more on the light at the end of the tunnel. Finding happiness and salvation when your world seems to be nothing but darkness.
These authors did such an outstanding job with everything in this story. I cannot wait to read it over, and over, and over again. I will be anxiously stalking amazon for the release of the next book in the Caldwell Brothers series.

Chelsea Camaron was born and raised in Coastal North Carolina. She currently resides in Southern Louisiana with her husband and two children but her heart is always Carolina day dreaming.
Chelsea always wanted to be a writer, but like most of us, let fear of the unknown grab a hold of her dream; she realized that if she was going to tell her daughter to go for her dreams, that it was time to follow her own advice.
Chelsea grew up turning wrenches alongside her father, and from that grew her love for old muscle cars and Harley Davidson motorcycles, which just so happened to inspired her ‘Daddy’s Girls’ series. Her love for reading has sparked a new love for writing and she currently has a few more projects in the works.
When she is not spending her days writing you can find her playing with her kids, attending car shows, going on motorcycle rides on the back of her husband’s Harley, snuggling down with her new favorite book or watching any movie that Vin Diesel might happen to be in.
She hates being serious and is still a big kid at heart. She is a small town country girl enjoying life and, Chelsea hopes that her readers remember not to take life too seriously and to embrace your inner five year old, because five year olds know how to enjoy the simple things in life and how to always have fun.
M.J. Fields
MJ Fields's love of writing was in full swing by age eight. Together with her cousins, she wrote a newsletter for family members. The newsletter was put back into 'publication' in September of 2001 for the entertainment of her cousin on a Navy aircraft carrier in the gulf, (Her cousin is a female Navy officer and helicopter pilot).
She self-published her first New Adult romance in January 18, 2013. Today, she has completed four self-published series, The Love series, The Wrapped series, The Burning Souls series, and The Men of Steel series.
