But building sandcastles and lazy beach walks filled with moonlight kisses isn't the same as real life, and soon they are faced with a new reality. Can their hope of forever survive past their summer, or does fate have its own twisted plan?

 ✯✯5 Twisty Stars!!✯✯

What a way to start a series! If you read the Living Again series you already know how good LL Collins is. And, this book is no different. There was so many times I was holding my breath waiting for the other shoe to drop. What was crazy was this story takes place in the 90's and I remember back to that time when I had no cell phones or computers. Everything was mailing letters and leaving messages on their answering machine and praying it didn't get deleted before they got home.

Liane and Blake have been best friends their whole lives. Their parents have been best friends since before they were born. Liana & Blake spend 2 weeks together every summer with their families. They spend all year writing & sending letters back and forth. And, talk on the phone as much as possible. They look forward to their 2 weeks at Sanibel Island every summer.

Every summer they grow older and things start to change between them. Both Blake & Liane start having stronger and stronger feelings then the summer before. When they are 14yrs old Blake lets Liane know exactly how he feels about her. Liane feels exactly the same way. She's afraid if she takes that step and something goes wrong she'll loose Blake. Her best friend. Liane will not risk loosing him. Liane runs away and doesn't go back to Sanibel.

A few years later Liane is dating Ronan and it's the summer before they head off to college. They been dating for 2yrs now. Liane has decided this summer she will go to Sanibel with her parents and sister. Right before she's ready to leave Ronan does the unthinkable. He breaks up with her so he can go to college single. Ronan broke her.

Liane & Blake can not believe their eyes when they see each other for the first time. The feelings they had years ago are still there. Except they are so much stronger then they've remembered. They have 2 weeks together. That's it. Liane and Blake decide it's time to do what they should of done awhile ago. They give into their feelings and go for it.

Their love is real and it's beautiful. Blake and Liane may be only 18 but they know the love they have is going to be life long. They spend the whole 2 weeks together. Every waking minute they're together. They find ways to be together. I fell in love with these 2 big time! They made me wish I had a childhood love the whole time I was reading this.

At the end of their 2 weeks their both devastated. Liane is going back to Kentucky. Blake is going back to South Carolina. Then, they are going to college. Plus, Blake is worried that Liane will see Ronan and get back with him. But, the both of them are positive that this is it. Their love is forever. Nothing or no one not even the distance can break them up. Or can it?

This book was non stop. LL Collins hit every emotion I had. She took me back to being that 18yr old girl who had waited by the phone praying for it to ring. I remember waiting for that phone to ring. When it didn't I remember thinking someone got to the answering machine 1st and deleting it & never writing my message down. LL Collins did something not many authors could do. And, she did it perfectly. Book 2 can not come out quick enough.

Stepping into the warm water with her, I need her like I need my next breath. I snake my arms around her and pull her to me. I can’t stop the groan that comes out when her wet skin hits mine. I’m a guy; I know all about showers. However, a shower with Liane is beyond my wildest fantasies. Our tongues come together as I step us backwards and press her gently into the wall, hoping it’s not cold. She doesn’t make a sound, so she either doesn’t care or it’s warm enough. I smooth her wet hair away from her face as I deepen our kiss, tilting my head so I can tell her everything I want with my mouth. She moans, her hands finding me and making my eyes roll in my head. Yeah, this entire night is going to be what saves me for the next few months, thinking about all of this right here. I slow down our kiss and pull away, putting my lips at her ears. “Wanna race?” I tease. I love playing with her; it’s one of my favorite things to do. “Race?” She looks at me, a gleam in her eye. “We’re starting a new kind of race?” Her hands are still caressing me, and I can barely form words at the sensation. “Yeah,” I mutter, putting my hands over hers so she will stop for a second. “We’ve raced our whole lives, right? It’s part of who we are. So why not have a race now?” “What are we racing to?” She looks me up and down, her eyes stopping at the evidence of my desire for her. I lean over and whisper in her ear, and she giggles, looking up at me with wide eyes. “Really? And what does the winner—or loser—get?” I wink at her. “The winner gets to pick the next location.” She gets exactly what I mean, and I see the competitive gleam come into her eye. “Well, let the best man—or in this case, woman—win,” she says. All I know is, I’m not losing because I already have the grand prize. Her.

 ✯✯5 Second Chance Stars!!!✯✯

***WARNING IF YOU DID NOT READ TWISTED SOULS DO NOT READ THIS REVIEW! THERE WILL BE SPOILERS!!***
What a follow up book and conclusion to the Twisted series! I was devastated when Twisted Souls ended. I could not believe that  Blake got  so manipulated by the one person who had every reason to want him away from Liane. When I started this book I was very scared. I had no idea what I was going to get myself into.

This story picks up 18yrs after Twisted Souls ended. Liane has dropped her son Carter off at college. Carter is her only son and their bond runs deeper then the normal mother/son relationship. It's nice to see that Carter brings her so much happiness. When Liane returns home her life is instantly turned upside down. Ronan has left. Took all his stuff but a letter letting her know he's leaving her.

Liane does the first thing that pops into her head. Liane goes to the one place she hasn't gone to in 18yrs. Sinabel Island. Since those 2 perfect weeks with Blake she has not returned. Now, she's heading back and part of her hopes she'll see him. The other part doesn't know what she really wants.

Liane gets to her parents timeshare and the memories from that summers 18yrs ago come rushing back to her. Every where she looks she can see & feel Blake. But, that doesn't prepare her for when she actually sees him for the first time. Both Liane & Blake are speechless for what seems like forever.

When they finally do talk man was it intense! There's 18yrs of question and answers that need to be put out there before they can move forward. Liane & Blake have so many of their own demons in their closets. Faking feelings, alcoholism and a butt load of other stuff. Just when they think everything is out and they can move on. One of them gets a phone call.

Now, they're both rushing back. But, they thought all the secrets and the deceit was over. They get the biggest one yet. Even I didn't see that one coming. All I will say that the person responsible for this needs to be put down!! There was so many things. I found myself crying over & over. It never seemed to stop.

LL Collins finished up Liane & Blake story perfectly! I was happy with the way it ended. There were some subjects she wrote & handled beautifully. I would of been upset if it was written the right way. Liane is such a strong woman. I was so glad she finally opened up her eyes and saw what was in front of her. She finally lived for herself. And, fought for what she wanted. Blake finally saw what was in front of him. Owned up to his wrong doing and put up a fight. It was the perfect ending to a perfect series.

The first thing I notice is that the man is seriously beautiful. His body is cut and sculpted like he spends hours a day in the gym, and even in the dim light from the pool deck, I can tell he’s tan. His board shorts hang low on his hips, and the defined cuts of muscle on his chest and abs is enough to send women running to him and dropping at his feet. Had I been a single woman, he would definitely be my type. My eyes lift past his impeccable body to the face and head that’s attached, and that’s when my heart completely stops. I must’ve gasped out loud, because I feel Mia turn and look at me as he gets closer. I feel my mouth drop open as his eyes meet mine for the first time in years. “Blake.” He stops in his tracks, both of us staring at each other for what seems like every moment of the time we have been apart. I can’t believe he’s standing here, and had it not been for Mia standing next to me, I might’ve thought I was dreaming.
