✯Review✯Unacceptable: A Step-Brother Romance: An Unacceptables MC Romance by Kristen Hope Mazzola

Synopsis:

It’s finally my time.

Time to escape from my mother, her crazy antics and questionable morals. I'm getting the heck out of Dodge, leaving the trailer park, to make something of myself. Everything was fine until I walked into The Unacceptables' bar and met Abel Hellock. With his gorgeous muscles, tattoos, motorcycle and perfect smile, my knees quaked. My life was about to be sucked back into the seedy underbelly I fought so desperately to climb out of.

Everything was fine until I met my step-brother for the first time.

 ✯✯3.5 Stars!!!✯✯

This is my first book by this author and I would read more from her. This was such a short and fast read. I started and finished it in an afternoon. It wasn't my favorite read but I didn't hate it either. I really did like both Cricket and Abel.

Cricket has had a crappy childhood. Her mother was a whore who loved her drugs. After another horrible fight her father took off and never looked back. The only thing Cricket has of her fathers  is a letter he'd written her after he left. The letter had said how much he loved her and wanted her with him. The return address is from Vilas.

Years later and Cricket has had it. She's been stripping for the past few years now. Her mother hasn't changed. Her fathers letter still burns a hole in her hand.Cricket thinks her father had the right idea about leaving. Cricket has saved up her tips and  a bunch of uncashed paychecks in her wallet. Cricket is leaving the trailer park and her mother behind. She's not sure where she's going to end up. But, figures Vilas is a good place to start and maybe just maybe her father is still there.

When Cricket gets to Vilas she ends up going into a bar. She realizes really quick that it's an MC bar. When the owner of the bar and VP of The Unacceptable's MC walks in there's a instant sparks an instant connection. Cricket decides to stay a little longer in Vilas.

Cricket gets a job bartending at The Unacceptable's bar. She becomes friendly with everyone really quick. Abel lets her know rather quick that she belongs to him. They can both feel they connection between them why fight it any longer. And, they don't. Cricket learns Abel isn't just a hard big bad ass biker and boss. But, he's also a huge teddy bear who's wrapped around his daughter's finger.

These two moved way too fast for me. They go from strangers to wanting to spend 24/7 with each other. If that wasn't crazy in walks Abel's stepfather... Cricket's father. None of them can believe this. Cricket's father married Abel mom when he turned 18. If that wasn't enough drama there's an issue with the MC and Cricket gets a phone call about her mom.

As fast as this book started is as fast as it ended. This was my first step-brother book. But, I didn't get the whole step-brother part. I guess because they didn't know they were step bro/sis. And, it was like no big deal. Plus the whole MC thing wasn't too big either. It was more of a love story for me.

I loved how strong both Abel and Cricket were. They both had bad hands dealt to them and they took the strong right way to handle it. With them together they're even stronger of a force to be reckoned with. It just killed me that they were throwing out "I Love You" almost instantly. Even in real life that pisses me off. I really wish this book was longer and there was a bigger MC role. I loved all the characters in this book. I wish I got their backstories as well. Overall, this was a cute story.
