This book picked up exactly where Ice left off. Kaleb has been taken hostage in front of Jade and the rest of the team. If you haven't read Ice then do not read this until you do.
Jade refuses to leave Kaleb behind. Jade has never felt like this before. She's a sniper and good at her job. Jade doesn't let anything get in the way of her doing her job. But, with Kaleb being taken right in front of her she's loosing her mind. Luckily for Jade she has Harris and the rest of Kaleb's team behind her.
Kaleb can not believe he's been taken. But, hearing Jade screaming was much more worse. Until he saw the person behind the guys who took him. A blast from the past. How could this person be with the drug cartel? But, it's not too shocking. Kaleb will not give up. He can torture him as much as how bad as he wants. Kaleb just thinks of Jade. She is what keeps him going.
Wow!! If you read Ice and thought it was hot. Just wait. I honestly cringed reading what Kaleb went through. How anybody lives through that. I have no idea. Kaleb is extremely strong, loves hard and one of a kind. The best kind. Then, you have Jade. Stronger then most the men you come across. She's the one you'd want on your team or by your side any day of the week. But, when they are apart they are not as strong when they're apart. I love Kaleb & Jade. This is a must read series. I'm excited Harris is next.
